Point Wild Productions ::

Where does the name come from?

Point Wild Productions gets its name from Point Wild on Elephant Island. This is the location where the crew of the doomed Imperial Trans-Antartic Expedition sheltered for several months awaiting rescue. This Expedition, led by Sir Ernest Shackleton onboard the ship Endurance, was shipwrecked in the Antarctic ice. Their journey back to civilization highlights the perseverance of the human spirit and the determination of humanity as a whole. The crew of the Endurance sheltering on the inhospitable Point Wild in 1916, is a testament that there is always hope and always faith. Through Point Wild Productions films I hope to give the viewers, and supporters, a chance to HAVE FAITH IN HUMANITY.
